The countdown is on! Join us as we kick off the 2026 Manteca Chargers Football & Cheer season. Mini Camp is a required event for all registered athletes and includes check-in, equipment pickup (football), practice T-shirt distribution, a parent meeting, and team practices.

☀️🏈 TRAIN SMART. BEAT THE HEAT. 💧⚡

As temperatures rise, so does the importance of preparing our athletes to practice safely.

Heat acclimatization and proper hydration aren't just recommendations—they're essential for peak performance and preventing heat-related illness.

💧 Start hydrating 4–5 days before intense outdoor activities.

☀️ Gradually build up heat exposure over 7–14 days.

🥤 Drink water before, during, and after every practice.

👀 Coaches, parents, and athletes should know the warning signs of heat exhaustion and heat illness.

Every athlete is different, so listen to your body, stay cool, and never ignore symptoms of overheating.
